Which benefits can I expect in my apprenticeship?

Feedback of our apprentices during and after training

Finn Oeser

apprentice in his last year of training

“The fact that I was able to work on tasks on my own were a thing I really liked. Even if something went wrong, it was okay. I also enjoyed learning how to use the different machines. From the very start, I was accompanied. Preferences also matter: For example, I wanted to learn more about CNC machining and it was made possible.”

Ausbildung bei Karl Wrede

Henrik Knittel

former apprentice
student of mechanical engineering

“I started the apprenticeship to have a technical and hands-on base for my studies of mechanical engineering. The company has a broad scope of services – that way, I got a good impression of the work. As an apprentice, I started with my own assignments from the first day on, and could realize my own ideas.”

Mitten in der Ausbildung: Chris Biere

Chris Biere

apprentice in his second year of training

“I especially appreciate the variety. There are always different tasks and you do not do the same all the time. This way, it never gets boring and I learn a lot. Furthermore, my colleagues are really helpful and open for all my questions.”

Ausbildung Lukas Mundt

Lukas Mundt

former apprentice
master machinist,
Student of industrial engineering

“I started my apprenticeship in 2016 with the aim to learn as much as I could. The technology, the variety in the daily work, and the autonomous work were facts that made it very interesting. That was the very best part. You learn so much about mechanical engineering and steel constructions while getting to know each area with its different specialties. An irreplacable experience – in my opinion. Finally, I finished the apprenticeship as the best examinee of the guild half a year earlier. At the moment, I am in the exams to be a master machinist and then start studying industrial engineering with the focus on mechanical engineering in Lübeck.”

Jacob Wilkerling

apprentice in his first year of training

“I started my apprenticeship at Karl Wrede in August and I already feel welcome. I like the work and I am interested of how everything is going to evolve.”
